Infoscape provides the ability to discover, classify and manage business information, enabling the next phase of information lifecycle management (ILM) for files. Infoscape discovers files stored in fileshares by scanning and collecting file attributes in an agentless fashion. ENC Infoscape scans your environment to automatically discover existing Windows file servers and associated file shares accessible via the Common Internet File System (CIFS). In addition, Infoscape can open files, analyse the content, and categorise the files according to predefined sets of rules.
